Papaya

Known also as Paw Paw or Melon Tree, Papaya  is native to the American tropics and the plant is more truly a herb than a tree.  Almost every part of the plant can be used although, in the West, we tend to only focus on the brightly coloured orange flesh, which tastes delicious!
